How long does it take?

Once we have your information from the intake form, your site can be live on your domain in about a week.

What do I need to provide?

The intake form walks you through it: your business details, services, hours, service area, and any logo, photos or examples of sites you like. If you don't have a logo or photos, that's okay. Let us know and we'll talk through options.

I only have a Facebook page. Do I still need a website?

A Facebook page is a good start, but a website on your own domain gives customers one clear place to find your services, hours, location and phone number, and it looks more established.

I already have a website. Can you improve it?

Yes. If your current site is outdated, unfinished, hard to use on a phone, or not loading properly, we can build you a clean, modern replacement.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. Every site is mobile-friendly, with tap-to-call buttons so customers can reach you in one tap.

Do I need my own domain?

Your site goes live on your own domain. If you don't have one yet, we can talk through getting one set up.

Where are you located?

We're based in the Baldwinsville, NY area and work with businesses in Baldwinsville, Lysander, Van Buren, Radisson, Seneca Knolls, Phoenix, Liverpool and across Central New York.

After month one & who owns what

What happens after the first month?

On the $147/month Care Plan, your site stays live and we handle hosting and updates, like changing your hours or text. Just email us what you need changed. If you chose the $750 one-time build, your first year of hosting is included, and hosting is billed separately after that first year.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes. The $147/month Care Plan has a 6-month minimum. The $750 one-time build has no monthly commitment.

Who owns my domain?

Local Edge Web Design registers and owns the domain (your web address) and leases it to you for as long as you keep paying for your plan or hosting. If payments stop, the lease ends and the domain goes back to us, so your website will no longer show up at that address.
